TLS International Gathering
Volunteer Registration
Labyrinth Network Northwest is hosting an international gathering of The Labyrinth Society at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Oregon. There will be 5 days of labyrinth events beginning Wednesday evening, October 7 and continuing through Sunday afternoon, October 11, 2009. This will be the first time that a TLS Gathering has been held in the Pacific Northwest.
If you are interested in volunteering to be part of this hosting team, we would love to have you! We are requesting that volunteers register their interest with us by selecting from the general categories below.
Volunteers: What to expect Wed. Oct. 7th – Sun. Oct. 11th
1) You will need to be fully registered, paying your own way, for the day and or days you are volunteering during the Gathering and are attending/participating in Gathering activities.
2) We encourage you to apply for a LNN scholarship and or TLS Scholarship to help with keeping your registration costs down.
3) Your volunteering will not conflict with attending Gathering activities with the exception of those Volunteers helping with hospitality on Thursday afternoon when most people arrive. There will be a Pre-Gathering workshop going on in the afternoon that will conflict with your hospitality duties.
4) Timing of Volunteer duties:
Hospitality: duties during the actual Event
Logistics: duties during the actual Event
Publicity: duties before the actual Event (May-Sept.)
Registration: duties before and/or first day of the Event
Volunteer Coordinator: duties before and during Event
Wherever Needed: duties and timeframe to be determined by task
5) The TLS Planning Team is extremely grateful for your gift of time and talent to help make sure this Gathering is a success!
